Physical access to the Maricopa County Superior Court is currently restricted pursuant to Administrative Order 2020-78. While the court remains vigilant in its effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19, the public may search for and listen to live audio proceedings of most court events telephonically. The Judicial Branch of Arizona in Maricopa County is committed to maintaining access to Branch services while keeping litigants, probationers, staff, and the public safe during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. We are coordinating with state and county health departments and other governmental agencies to ensure we are consistent with their guidance in the appropriate response while fulfilling our statutory and constitutional obligations.

We continue to work closely with county and state government to communicate regarding COVID-19 and local court operations. Consistent with public health recommendations, we have additional staff cleaning more often in public areas such as elevators, restrooms, courtrooms, and jury assembly/deliberation rooms. The solution used in the cleaning process is approved by the Center for Disease Control as an anti-viral product to combat COVID-19. Our employees have been reminded to do things like wash their hands regularly, as well as other precautions.
