Eligibility for inclusion on the Court’s Parenting Conference Provider is determined by the Court. All providers must meet these minimum qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Marital and Family Counseling, Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field and three (3) years of postgraduate experience in family counseling, mediation/negotiation or Legal Decision Making assessment/evaluation.
- In accordance with A.R.S. § 25-406, provide proof that they have received training, since July 1, 2006, that meets the minimum standards prescribed by the Domestic Relations Committee, established pursuant to A.R.S. § 25-323.02 as follows:
- Six initial hours of domestic violence training
- Six initial hours of child abuse training
- Four subsequent hours of training every two years on domestic violence and child abuse
