Claim Against the Estate
For a Claim against the Estate:
- You received notice about a court case involving the property of a person who died (informal proceedings), OR
- You believe a person who died owes you money, AND
- You want to make a claim against the estate before all the property is transferred to others
To object or contest an informal appointment:
- You must file a petition for formal probate.
