How to Respond to a Jury Summons

You may receive a text or an email asking you to respond to a Case-Specific Questionnaire. This is not spam. This is a new process that allows jurors to respond to questions while still at home and potentially be excused without having to come into the courthouse. Just click the link, answer the questions and submit.

Jury Scam Notice

Residents of Maricopa County have been targeted in jury duty scam. Citizens are contacted via phone by a person identifying themselves as a member of law enforcement or a Jury Office representative. The caller informs citizens that a warrant has been issued for their arrest because they failed to report to jury service. The caller then states that the warrant can be resolved if the citizen pays a fine by sending cash or a prepaid debit card. This is a scam.

If you feel you are being targeted for this scam, write down the phone number the person is calling from and hang up. DO NOT give the caller any personal information about yourself or agree to provide any money. Contact your local police department and request to file a complaint.  To verify your jury service status, please call the Jury Office at 602-506-5879.
