Judge Ronee Korbin Steiner retired on November 1, 2026, and she will return to practicing family law.
“Serving the people of Arizona and Maricopa County has been the greatest honor of my professional life. The decision to leave the bench has been the most difficult one,” Judge Korbin Steiner said. “It has been a privilege to work alongside dedicated judicial officers, court administration, and staff who consistently strive to ensure justice, fairness, and dignity for every person who comes before the court.”
During her 11-year career on the bench, Judge Korbin Steiner served in the Family, Criminal and Juvenile Departments. She also served a four-year stint as the Family Court Associate Presiding Judge.
“As a judge, I have witnessed firsthand the resilience of the families and individuals our courts serve, and I have been humbled by the opportunity to contribute to the administration of justice in our state. I am grateful for the trust placed in me by Governor Ducey and for the chance to engage in meaningful work that has shaped me personally and professionally.” Judge Korbin Steiner said.
Prior to joining the Court, Judge Korbin Steiner worked as a family law attorney at her own firm, Korbin Steiner & Marquis. In 2010, she received the Family Law Litigator of the Year Award from the Volunteer Lawyers Program and was recognized as one of the top 50 pro bono lawyers of the year.
She graduated cum laude from the Ohio State University in 1990 with Honors in Liberal Arts. Judge Korbin Steiner received her law degree from Temple University Law School in 1993.
Upon retirement, Judge Korbin Steiner will step into her new role as the President of the Maricopa County Bar Association and work as a family law attorney.
